Early Successes

Since our founding in January 2013, we have experienced small but mighty successes, thanks to the outstanding support of our donors and volunteers!  Below is a list of our accomplishments to date:

Helping Others:

-Presented $5,600 in memorial scholarships.

-Delivered 350 Harnessing Hope bags to Susquehanna Health Cancer Center!

-Helped 74 local families affected by cancer with their utility expenses since November 2014.

-In partnership with the American Red Cross, we have welcomed 140 blood donors in four memorial blood drives, helping to impact 420 lives!

Community Support:

-Organized our first Harnessing Hope 5K Run / Walk in 2013!

-Participated in our fourth American Cancer Society Relay for Life in 2015!

-Participated in 62 community-sponsored 5K events on behalf of the Foundation since 2013.

-Foundation teams ran in the Allentown Half Marathon in 2013, the Rochester Half Marathon in 2014, the Philadelphia Rock N’ Roll Half Marathon in 2015, the Harrisburg Half Marathon in 2016 and the Army 10 Miler in 2017!

Fundraising Success:

Hundreds of unique donors !

-Since inception, we have raised over $80,000  in donations!

-Participated in our first Raise the Region event in 2014, raising $2,750 for Team Kass!
