Each year, the Paternostro Cancer Foundation will present a scholarship to a deserving graduate of Hughesville High School who demonstrates esteemed qualities and work ethic, including dedication to academics, extracurricular activities, and the community in which he/she lives. This gift is made in memory of former ELSD Superintendent, Thomas A. Paternostro, and his daughter, Kathleen Paternostro Morgan, HHS Class of 1990.
Scholarship Criteria:
- Applicants must be a member of the graduating class.
- Applicants must be attending college and/or joining the military upon graduation.
- Applicants must complete the scholarship application, write a 500-word essay, and submit the materials along with their official high school transcript.
